Vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) Glycoprotein pseudotyped lentiviruses.
Product Description
Product Description
Vesicular stomatitis virus Glycoprotein Pseudotyped Lentivirus
Vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) Glycoprotein pseudotyped lentiviruses.
Applications
- Broad spectrum cell tropism
- Positive viral control for pseudovirus assays
- Pseudovirus transduction of target cells for viral entry and functional studies
- Anti-VSVĀ drug screening
- Anti-VSV neutralizing antibody screening
We have pre-assembled VSV-G pseudotyped particles that are available as controls and initial viral particle testing.Ā These pseudoviruses are BSL-2 safe and ready to use for studying viral entry. Additionally, we help our customers to assemble custom VSV-G pseudotyped lentiviruses at any scale. These particles carry reporters or custom genomes that can be used for cell transductions, positive controls for antiviral drug and antibody screenings, and more. Customers can provide us with the reporter or lentiviral expression vector of their choice, and we will assemble particles within a week. Please contact us by email: info@virongy.com
To enhance your pseudovirus entry, ask about receiving a free sample of our propriety InfectinTM which can significantly promote productive viral infection in a variety of host cells, enhancing viral infection rates by 3 to 50-fold. InfectinTM paired with VSV-G pseudoviruses can achieve transduction efficiencies as high as 99% in certain cell types.
Example of results:
VSV-G pseudotyped lentiviral particle transduction of HEK293T cells (Left):
HEK293T cells were transduced with VSV-G lenti-pseudovirus (with a luciferase reporter). Reporter expression was quantified at 3 days post-transduction (luciferase assay).
VSV-G pseudotyped lentiviral particle transduction of HEK293T cells (Right):
HEK293T cells were transduced with VSV-G lenti-pseudovirus (with a GFP reporter).Ā Reporter expression was quantified at 2 days post-transduction (GFP flow cytometry).
VSV pseudoviruses are intended for Research Use Only and are not for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes or use in humans or animals.
