Pre-Assembled VSV-G–Pseudotyped Lentiviral Vectors

Virongy offers pre-assembled VSV-G–pseudotyped lentiviral reporter viruses designed for use as reliable controls and rapid feasibility testing in viral entry and transduction studies. These replication-deficient pseudoviruses are BSL-2 safe, high quality, and ready to use, enabling streamlined workflows without the need for in-house virus production.

Our VSV-G pseudotyped lentiviruses carry reporter genes or custom lentiviral genomes and are well suited for:

  • Cell transduction and stable expression studies

  • Viral entry and tropism analysis

  • Positive controls for antiviral drug and neutralizing antibody screening

  • Assay development and optimization

In addition to off-the-shelf options, Virongy provides custom VSV-G pseudotyped lentivirus production at any scale. Customers may supply their own reporter construct or lentiviral expression vector, and our team will assemble and deliver viral particles within as little as one week.

Available Reporter and Functional Gene Constructs

Virongy offers a curated panel of pre-configured lentiviral expression constructs packaged as VSV-G–pseudotyped lentiviral particles. These vectors are optimized for robust expression in human cells and include a puromycin resistance marker to enable rapid and reliable selection of transduced cells.

Enhance Transduction with Infectin

To further improve performance, ask about receiving a complimentary sample of Virongy’s proprietary Infectin viral enhancer. Infectin significantly boosts productive viral infection across a wide range of host cell types, increasing infection and transduction efficiencies by 3- to 50-fold. When paired with VSV-G pseudotyped lentiviruses, transduction efficiencies of up to 99% can be achieved in certain cell lines.

VSV-G pseudotyped lentiviral particle transduction of HEK293T cells (Left):

HEK293T cells were transduced with VSV-G lenti-pseudovirus (with a luciferase reporter). Reporter expression was quantified at 3 days post-transduction (luciferase assay).

VSV-G pseudotyped lentiviral particle transduction of HEK293T cells (Right):

HEK293T cells were transduced with VSV-G lenti-pseudovirus (with a GFP reporter).  Reporter expression was quantified at 2 days post-transduction (GFP flow cytometry).
